This Privacy Policy explains how Meetly ("Meetly", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our scheduling service at appmeetly.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, profile image, chosen username, and time zone. If you sign in with Google, we receive this basic profile information from Google.
- Calendar data. If you connect a calendar, we access your calendars' busy/free times to prevent double-booking and, with your permission, create and update events for bookings. We request the minimum scopes needed and do not read the contents of events beyond what is required to schedule.
- Booking information. When someone books with you (or you book with a host), we collect the invitee's name, email, and any answers they provide to your booking questions, plus the meeting time, duration, and location.
- Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan or collect payments, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; Stripe handles card data under its own terms and PCI compliance.
- Usage and device data. We collect basic technical information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) and error diagnostics to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
- To provide and operate scheduling, calendar sync, reminders, and payments.
- To send transactional email (booking confirmations, reminders, receipts, account notices).
- To provide optional AI features you enable (meeting briefings, notes, and follow-up drafts).
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, debug problems, and comply with law.
How we share information
We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf — including Google (calendar sync), Stripe (payments), our email provider (transactional email), our hosting provider, and error-monitoring tools — solely to operate the Service. When you take or receive a booking, the relevant booking details are shared between the host and invitee. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
Google user data
Meetly's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Calendar access only to provide the scheduling features you request, do not use it for advertising, and do not sell it or share it with third parties except as needed to provide the Service or as required by law. You can disconnect Google at any time in the app or revoke access in your Google Account settings.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can disconnect calendars, delete your account, and request a copy of your data from within the app or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile and settings; certain records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of material incidents where required.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date above.
